Demonstration...

On last Saturday, PSSGMUTP was organized a demonstration of Silat Gayong for UTP’s students. The demonstration was held at Multi Purpose Hall (MPH) from 9.30pm until 11.00pm. This demonstration involved 27 members of PSSGMUTP, 6 members of PSSGM Simpang Pulai and lead by our advisor Mr Muhammad Hafiz bin Baharun. The objectives of organizing this demonstration are:
· To give information to the students about the existence of PSSGMUTP in UTP
· To attracts students to join PSSGMUTP.
· To tighten the relationship among the committees of PSSGMUTP themselves.

The demonstration was started with warming up session and welcoming the audiences. Then we continued our performance with the basic movement without any weapon. The flow of our demonstration started from basic movement and ended with the application of all movements in Silat Gayong in some condition or situation.

We hope in future, we can do our demonstration in open area and can attract more audiences and students to join us. Silat Gayong is one of the oldest silat in Malaysia. So, as a member of this silat, we will work hard to make sure our generation still realize about their tradition and culture
